Satan Santa

Satan has a counterfeit for everything the Lord has and he tries to pass it off as truth every chance he gets. Paul tells us in Ephesians 6:11 to “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” We need to know if we have the real thing or a counterfeit. There is a holiday that is celebrated every year called Christmas that Satan has deceived us into believing that it’s the birthday of Jesus Christ.  Look at all the ways this counterfeit is like the real thing, the Lord Jesus Christ. As you review this study, think of the song “ Santa Clause Is Coming to Town”. You may think it should be renamed “ Satan’s Claws Is Coming to Town”. You be the judge.

1) Psalm 48:1-4 the city of the great King (GOD) is in the North. Santa lives in the North pole.

Psalms 48:1  ¶<<A Song and Psalm for the sons of Korah.>> Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.

2  Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

2) John 4:24 God is a Spirit. We are told to have the spirit of Christmas.

3) Psalm 139:7-12 God is present everywhere. We tell our children that Santa is everywhere watching them.

Psalms 139:7  ¶Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?

8  If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

9  If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;

10  Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

4) Romans 11:33 God has all wisdom. Santa has all wisdom.

Romans 11:33  ¶O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

5) Isaiah 46:8-14 God knows all. Santa knows all.

Isaiah 46:8  Remember this, and shew yourselves men: bring it again to mind, O ye transgressors.

9  Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,

10  Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

6) Acts 1:9-11 Jesus returns in the clouds. Santa comes in the air.

7) Revelation 19:13 Christ returns with a red vesture . Santa has a red  outfit.

Revelation 19:13  And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

8) Luke 17:34 Christ comes at night. Santa comes at night.

9) Revelation 20:12 Christ keeps a record of all the works that are done. Santa keeps a record of whether you've been naughty or nice.

Revelation 20:12  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

2 Corinthians 5:10  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

10) Revelation 11:10 there will be a time in the 7yrs tribulation when evil people will exchange gifts to each other after God's prophets are killed. Santa has a time when gifts are given.

Revelation 11:10  And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

11) Revelation 1:14 Christ has white hair. Santa has white hair.

Revelation 1:14  His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

12) Ephesians 2:8 Christ is a giver of gifts. Santa is a giver of gifts.

Ephesians 2:8  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

13) Hebrews 4:16 believers come boldly unto the throne of grace. Believers in Santa approach his throne (usually set-up in the mall) and ask for what is wanted.

Hebrews 4:16  Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

14) Ephesians 6:1-3 the Word commands children to obey their parents. Santa tells children to obey their parents.

15) Luke 12:40 the hour of His coming is a mystery. Santa coming is a mystery.( "go to bed little kiddies, Satan; I mean Santa is coming")

Luke 12:40  Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

16) Mark 10:14 Christ tells the children to come to him. Santa tells the children to come to him.

Mark 10:14  But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

17) Mark 6:3 Jesus was a carpenter. Santa builds toys.

Mark 6:3  Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.

It's sad that folks get "offended" when you attack Santa but not when the deity of Jesus Christ is "offended" huh?

18) Revelation 19:6 Christ is all-powerful (omnipotent). Santa must be all-powerful because he can deliver all the toys to the entire planet in one night.

Revelation 19:6  And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

THIS ONE IS CREEPY!

19) Zechariah 2:6 the Lord says Ho; ho. Santa says Ho, ho, ho.

Zechariah 2:6  ¶Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD.

"O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree" and don't forget "deck" the halls folla la la la, la la etc.

Ever wondered where the Christmas tree originated?

20) Jeremiah 10:1-4 the heathen had a custom of cutting down a tree and decking it with silver and gold. Santa leaves gifts under a tree that has been decorated.

Jeremiah 10:1  ¶Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:

2  Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

3  For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

4  They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

Do not be deceived by Satan’s devises. Satan has given us many ways to get to heaven: Do good works; be water baptized, believe in God, be a member of a church, etc.

According to God’s word for this age there is only one way to heaven and that is to truly believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins, that he was buried and that he rose again the third day (I Corinthians 15:1-4).

Do not put your trust in "traditions of men" and "fables". Renew your mind with the things of God and do His will in Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour.

The apostle Paul warned  that to be ignorantly  zealous was ungodly.

Romans 10:2  For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

3  For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

Colossians 2:8  Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

2 Timothy 4:3  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4  And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Romans 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Tis' the season? Don't think so!

2 Corinthians 6:2  (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
